Spotlight On: Newsletter Changes

Publication Name

Your Wilderness -- December 2011

Thanks to all of you who responded to our newsletter survey in the September issue! We listened to your feedback, and are pleased to present a new format for Your Wilderness. You overwhelmingly told us that opportunities to take action supporting wilderness are what you value most. We wouldn't have it any other way! Content about wild places was also especially popular, and we'll be working to make that coverage even better. Some sections weren't considered quite as useful, so we've discontinued two features. In their place we're rolling out this "Spotlight On" section, which will cover either a specific wilderness topic, a local organization, or some other notable wilderness story worth sharing. Overall, the newsletter has been streamlined to be shorter, while offering even more of what you asked for. And if you read something you really like, we've made it easy for you to tell others about it using quick links to share an article on Facebook, Twitter, or via email.
