The Pew Charitable Trusts is a founding member of the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition (DSCC), an international coalition of more than 60 organizations worldwide working together to protect cold water corals and vulnerable deep sea ecosystems, and calling for the full implementation of the UN resolutions to manage bottom fishing in the deep oceans in order to protect the rich, unique and fragile pockets of life in the deep seas.
