Heather Bradner joined Pew in February 2007 as an officer of the Global Ocean Legacy project, which works to create large no-take marine reserves around the world. Bradner is responsible for financial and project management, as well as assisting with Global Ocean Legacy’s site assessments and operations.
Bradner has more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, public policy and political campaigns. She has worked extensively as professional staff for the Alaska State Legislature, including for the House Natural Resources Committee, and was assistant director of the boards and commissions office for the Governor of Alaska, where she was responsible for recommending gubernatorial appointments and state judicial appointments.
Bradner holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Washington.
